Betina Moreira Infante
Director

Betina has worked in public relations, community outreach and development in the Americas, Europe and Asia for the past 20 years. Working with private, public and non-governmental institutions, she has helped to conceive and implement communications strategies that have influenced opinions and changed behavior. 

In Mongolia, Betina and her team work with mining, energy, banking and other industrial sectors to advance corporate public relations that distinguish, position, brand and build a positive image for clients. The team also works with the public and private sector on social marketing and development campaigns that increase awareness and change attitudes.

 

Undrakh Enkhbat
Senior PR Manager

Undrakh serves as a key liaison with clients. She develops and implements strategies that manage our clients’ relationship with a variety of stakeholders, and that position clients as reputable, credible partners among stakeholders. She has over 10 years of professional experience in both the private and public sector. She has served as a manager for international organizations, such as IATA, USAID, and business entities, such as Dell SA in Switzerland. Her career extends from management of development and business projects to the state mining sector; prior to joining Breakthrough, she worked with Erdenes MGL.

Undrakh obtained her MBA from International University in Geneva and her MA in Media and Governance from Keio University in Japan.

 

Enkhbat Okhinoo
Chief Operations Officer

Enkhbat is our Chief Operations Officer and is directly responsible for all operational and administrative oversight and management, and for all budget, finance, and audit functions. He develops and executes proactive strategies, programs, and tactics and oversees the company’s operations to ensure efficiency and the delivery of quality service. He has eight years of professional experience in the field of finance and administration of projects with international institutions. Before joining Breakthrough PR, he worked for German-GTZ and at The Asia Foundation.

Enkhbat has an M.A. in Engineering from the University of Science and Technology, Ulaanbaatar

 

Bayar Borjigon Lkhagvasuren
Media & Multimedia Manager

Bayar is Breakthrough PR’s Media manager, and is responsible for developing and managing media relations, campaigns and multi-media productions for clients, such as media events, press conferences and the design and production of promotional products. Bayar advises clients on all media components of communications strategy and planning. Bayar has a wealth of experience in multi-media and development communications program management as well as in multimedia production. Prior to joining Breakthrough PR, Bayar worked as a manager at Jump Mining Service Company, USAID’s Economic Policy Reform & Competitiveness Project, and at Mercy Corps Mongolia.  

Bayar has a B.A. in Banking Economy from the Institute of Economic & Finance (IEF)

 

Munkhjargal Battsengel
Research Coordinator

Munkhjargal conducts research and analysis on socio-economic development issues that informs strategy development and provides valuable stakeholder feedback to clients. She is an expert in demography and is a university lecturer in the field. Munkhjargal works as a long-term consultant for Breakthrough PR and has worked with us on numerous public perception surveys as well as stakeholder mapping and analysis.

Munkhjargal has an M.A. in International Relations from Yonsei University, Seoul, and an M.A. in Economics (with Demography as a major) from the National University of Mongolia.

 

Enkhtsetseg Byambaa
Research Coordinator

Enkhee conducts public opinion, and social and economic research to inform and monitor strategy development for our clients. Ekhee has conducted extensive research at the national, regional and local level throughout Mongolia. Using interviews, surveys and focus group discussions, she has produced baselines research, public opinion research, and stakeholder maps and analyses for our clients.

Enkhee has a PhD in Demography from Charles University in Prague.

 

Hamid Sardar-Afkhami
Film Producer/Director & Photographer

Dr. Sardar-Afkhami serves as a lead film producer and director for Breakthrough PR. His projects in Mongolia over the last nine years have produced three award-winning documentary films, numerous articles and a single important photographic collection concentrating on Mongolia’s nomadic culture at the cusp of a great irreversible change. His documentary film ‘The Reindeer People’ (shown on FR5, Discovery Channel etc.) was awarded the prize for the Best Film on Culture at the prestigious Banff Mountain Film Festival in Canada (2004). His second film ‘Balapan, Wings of Altai’ also received the prize for Best film on Culture at the Banff and the Telluride Mountain film festivals (2006). His third film ‘Tracking the White Reindeer’, for the third consecutive time, received the award for Best film on Culture at Banff (2008), as well as prizes in many other international festivals.

Hamid Sardar-Afkhami earned his Ph.D. degree at Harvard University in Sanskrit & Tibetan Studies.
